BODYBAR Pilates is a fitness boutique franchise that teaches pilates using the BODYBAR method in multiple locations across the United States. We focus on bringing a spirit of CHEER to all we do as well as to be the industry standard in the way we deliver our classes. Reporting to the General Manager, the BODYBAR Pilates Assistant Studio Manager (ASM) is responsible for achieving sales targets through management of membership operations. This individual is responsible for the implementation of the studio’s sales process and member retention strategies, trains the sales team, and serves as the face of the brand both in and out of the studio. The role requires someone with sales, management, and leadership experience. Boutique fitness experience is a plus.
- Preserve product mix and established monthly rates; collect any outstanding dues
- Implement member retention strategies to increase loyalty and drive referrals
- Self-generate leads via grassroots marketing, partnerships, and member referrals
- Schedule and participate in local networking and community events
- Manage studio’s social media presence
- Together with the General Manager, recruit, train, and schedule sales staff
- Together with the General Manager, evaluate performance of sales staff and instruct on methods of improvement
- Ensure retail products are stocked and merchandised to brand standards
- Enforce all policies and procedures
- Maintain studio cleanliness and organization
- Manage inventory and organization of all administrative supplies and forms
- Create community at the studio through engagement with members before and after class
- 3+ years of retail, service, management and/or fitness sales experience
- Able to commit 30-35 hours per week
- Goal-driven with a proven track record in achieving sales quotas
- High energy personality with a desire to develop community and business-to-business partnerships
- Highly organized; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Professional, trustworthy, and punctual
- Proficient with client management software
- Passionate about fitness
